Terms for using Saku.

1. What Saku provides
Saku provides personal media-centre software and Saku-operated account features. Saku does not sell, host or include media, streaming sources, provider accounts, debrid access, addons, or third-party subscriptions. You are responsible for connecting only services and content you are independently authorized to use.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. A personal subscription is for one account holder. You may install Saku on multiple devices, but the standard plan permits no more than two simultaneous active Saku sessions. Saku may let an administrator lift this technical limit for a specific account.
3. Trials and subscriptions
The standard trial lasts three days and requires a payment method. Unless cancelled before the displayed trial end, it automatically converts to the selected monthly or annual subscription. Prices, tax, currency, renewal date and payment method are shown at Polar checkout. Normal cancellation stops future renewal and access continues until the paid period ends.
4. Founder access and gifts
Accounts included in Saku's pre-launch Founder snapshot receive permanent access to ordinary Saku features without a subscription. Founder status is account-bound, non-transferable and may be revoked if granted in error, obtained through abuse, or used in serious violation of these terms. Gift codes may provide the duration and access level shown when redeemed; they have no cash value and cannot be resold unless Saku expressly permits it.
5. Refunds, disputes and reversals
The refund and cancellation policy forms part of these terms. When a payment is refunded, reversed or charged back, the related paid entitlement may end immediately. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.
6. Messages, files and calls
Saku may let you message friends, share supported files and make voice calls. Only share material you have the right to share, treat other people respectfully, and do not assume that an automated file check makes every file safe. Voice calls are not recorded by Saku. Details about storage, deletion and safety checks are in the privacy notice.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse Saku-operated services, evade payment or session limits, automate trial abuse, share a personal subscription outside its intended holder, interfere with security or availability, scrape private data, upload malware, impersonate others, or use Saku to violate law or third-party rights. You must not extract or publish private provider secrets, addon configuration URLs or resolved media links.
8. Availability and changes
Saku may change supported versions, features and technical requirements, including requiring an update to protect users or services. Planned maintenance and outages may occur. If an account becomes inactive, Saku may suspend compute-backed activity until the user returns; this does not cancel billing unless the subscription is separately paused or cancelled.
9. Suspension and termination
Saku may pause or revoke service access to protect users or systems, respond to non-payment, refunds or chargebacks, investigate abuse, comply with law, or enforce these terms. Where appropriate, notice and an opportunity to appeal will be provided. The app's non-service UI may remain visible when compute-backed functions are unavailable.
10. Third parties
Independent providers, addons and linked sites are not controlled or endorsed by Saku. Their terms, fees and availability are separate. Polar is the merchant of record for paid checkout and subscription transactions.
11. Software licence
Subject to these terms and a valid entitlement where required, Saku grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use supported official builds. This licence does not transfer ownership of Saku software or branding.
12. Liability and mandatory rights
Saku is provided with reasonable care, but no software is error-free. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Saku is not responsible for independent providers, addons, content, or losses caused by unauthorized use or disclosure of your credentials. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
