Refunds and cancellation

Clear trial and renewal rules.

Effective 12 August 2026. Mandatory consumer rights always apply.

Three-day trial

A payment method is required when starting a trial. Polar shows the exact end time, renewal price, tax and currency before confirmation. Cancel through the Polar customer portal before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. Trial cancellation ends at the time shown in the portal.

Subscription cancellation

You can cancel a monthly or annual subscription at any time through the Polar customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal. Unless a refund, chargeback or abuse action applies, paid access continues until the current billing period ends.

Refund requests

If a charge was accidental, duplicated, technically unusable, or otherwise disputed, email support@sakustreams.com promptly with your Polar receipt or order ID and a short explanation. Never send full card details. Requests are reviewed fairly in coordination with Polar, the merchant of record. Approval is not automatic except where required by law.

After a refund or chargeback

An approved full refund, payment reversal or chargeback ends the related paid Saku entitlement immediately. The account and non-service UI may remain available, but Saku-operated compute-backed functions stop until another valid entitlement exists.

Service problems

Before requesting a refund for a technical issue, check the latest supported release and report safe reproduction steps. Saku cannot refund charges from independent providers, addons, streaming services or other third parties because those are not included in a Saku purchase.

Mandatory rights

This policy does not remove any cancellation, refund, conformity or other consumer right that applies where you live. Polar may request additional information to process a legally required refund or investigate fraud.
